Barb White's work is recognized for it's representation of ambiguous faces which are not representive of any one culture, leaving them open to the viewer interpretation. The backdrop of 2020 and the Corona Virus epidemic and Social Justice movements, led her to an immense place of sadness, which is expressed in her work. She creates from a place of spontanaety and emotion, being in the moment, and allowing the work to evolve freely through repetition of theme, colors and substrate materials.
