THE RITUALISTS

An exceptional show Rockstars & Flowers V, featuring the latest collection of paintingsby resident artist Sebastian Correa.

This striking body of work includes the original portraits featured on the vinyl cover of Too Pure to Cure, the new album by NYC-based art-rock band The Ritualists. Created through a shared creative exchange, these portraits sparked a broader series that marks a bold evolution in Sebastian’s style.

The exhibition also included his signature painted flowers, revealing the continuity and growth in his artistic process.

The “V” in the title marks Sebastian’s fifth Rockstars & Flowers exhibition—don’t miss this last chance to experience the work in person.

The Ritualists band members and artist, Sebastian Correa celebrate the cease of "Too Pure to Cure" at The Edge Wilson Gallery.

“Sixty Birds & Two Horses” is a collection of paintings inspired by my father, Angel Correa’s art.Throughout my life, my dad always made bold and stylized art of the highest quality and craftsmanship. His preferred mediums were copper enameling, ceramics, painting and stained glass. His repetition of subjects created an interconnected body of work, and the consistent influence of Art Decco and use of Mayan and Aztec symbolism unified all his pieces into a cohesive collection.

Born and raised in Chile, and now residing in Miami, my father is a true Renaissance man who has many accomplishments including being a lawyer, general contractor, published author (philosophy), game inventor, songwriter, chef and most importantly, he’s a loving husband and father. A common thread throughout, is that he always made art.

My father hasn’t shown
his art in years and this is our first collaboration. He has many more designs beyond those reflected in “Sixty Birds & Two Horses”, so I look forward to doing this again.
