THE LOFT AT THE EDGE: A PLACE TO LIVE

Perched on the third floor, the loft is where Sebastian and I live a life of creativity with our little dog, Blu. With soaring ceilings, original heartwood pine floors, and windows on both the north and south sides, it’s filled with natural light and beautiful views. The space includes a gourmet galley kitchen ideal for everyday cooking or entertaining, and a Euro-style bathroom with a luxurious soaking tub. Industrial trestle tables and shelves made from salvaged wood add a sustainable, organic touch. Living here connects us directly to the gallery and studios below—intentionally blurring the line between life and art.

THE GALLERY AT THE EDGE: CURATED EXHIBITIONS AND EVENTS

The Edge Gallery opened in 2021 as a realization of my vision. I love curating shows, selecting artists, and designing exhibitions that invite reflection and conversation. We feature a mix of local, national, and international artists, with each show intentionally designed to transform the space.

Original elements—like the polished cement floor, custom 3D locally made oak shelf, and antique Japanese ladder—add soul and character. Between exhibitions, the gallery sometimes features my own work and pieces by Sebastian Correa, including his Rockstars & Flowers series, my Buddha portraits, and “Ambis” (ambiguous faces).

THE STUDIOS AT THE EDGE: CREATIVE PROCESS

The studios are where Sebastian and I dive into our work. Visitors are welcome to see the process up close—materials, mess, and all. It’s a glimpse into how our ideas unfold in real time. We have what we call the White Studio - simply because it has white floors, walls and ceilings; and we have the Basement Studio, because, yes, you guessed it, it's in the basement. But don't let that fool you, it has french doors and a window, which usher in tons of natural light. And outside, we have a courtyard, where at times, we grill out, eat and relax.

HISTORIC DOWNTOWN WILSON: A GROWING ART COMMUNITY

Historic Downtown Wilson is quickly becoming a creative hub. Anchored by the nationally recognized Whirligig Park—home to monumental, wind-powered sculptures—the area also boasts a stunning new arts council building inspired by Piet Mondrian.

A new addition, for which we are grateful, a new luxury, boutique hotel, The Harriss Hotel. Not only is it around the corner from The Edge Wilson, but they made the decision to use Sebastian and my art to decorate each of the nine rooms.

And with more galleries and studios opening, Wilson is an increasingly inspiring destination for artists, creatives and all who appreciate the vibe.

PUSHING THE EDGE: WHATS IN A NAME?

The words "The Edge" speaks to both place and purpose. When I bought the building in 2016, it literally sat on the edge of the downtown district. But more than geography, it represents my commitment to art that pushes boundaries—work that challenges, uplifts, and sparks meaningful dialogue.

I look forward to welcoming you to The Edge.
